How to Prepare 0.5M Sulfuric Acid?
The molecular weight of Sulfuric acid (H2SO4) is 98 g/mol and the density of H2So4 is 1.84 g/ml.
Here is procedure for preparation of 0.5M sulfuric acid:
- Take a 1000ml volumetric flask.
- Add 500 ml of distilled water.
- Transfer 28 ml of Sulfuric acid into the flask.
- Allow to cool the solution to the room temperature.
- Dilute to volume with distilled water and mix well.
