Bursting Strength tester is calibrated for 2 parameters.

Calibration of Board Head:
Perform the calibration in five trials by using standard Aluminum Foil for Board testers and report the individual and average results in calibration record.
Acceptance Criteria:
The average standard burst value of the aluminum foil shall be as per range given in the certificate.
Calibration of Paper Head:
Perform the calibration in five trials by using standard aluminum foil for paper testers and report the individual and average results in calibration record.
Acceptance Criteria:
The average standard burst value of the aluminum foil shall be as per the range given in the certificate.
Frequency of Calibration:
Board tester and paper tester shall be calibrated in once in three months and as recommended by the service engineer after maintenance job.
